Location: A rough 4 by 4 road tums off Highway 20 in Tweedsmuir Provincial Park and follows the Atnarko River south. Turner Lake is located approximately 18 km (11.16 mi) along this track just west of Lonesome Lake.

Resorts & Campsites: There are primitive campsites around Turner Lake. Closest facilities and services are in Bella Coola and Hagensborg.

Fishing Report: Turner Lake is primarily a cutthroat fishery. Anglers report excellent results with cutthroats ranging between 1 and 2 pounds. This is pristine wilderness lake and a refuge for cutthroats. Please treat it with respect.

Viewscape: This is scenic country with rolling hills to the east and north, a flat area in the south and spectacular mountain vistas in the west. There is also spectacular Hunlen Falls at the north end of the lake.

Shoreline: The shoreline is mainly sandy and rocky with a small sand beach on the west shore. Small shrubs along the shore lead to a forest of lodgepole pine, fir and spruce.
